Our farm began in September 2017 as a result of a cow dairy allergy. I tried almond milk, soy milk, rice milk and hated each of them. One day, I read an article about the benefits of goat milk and decided to give it a whirl. The rest, as they say, is history.
We have Nigerian Dwarfs and Lamancha goats currently. Sample herd testing was done November 2018 and February 2019. Results were negative for CAE/CL/Johnes. All goats not born on the farm were purchased from clean, tested farms and all does are registered with ADGA along with our bucks.
Our goats are well tended and given alfalfa and bermuda hay along with grain as warranted by body condition. They are allowed to forage during the day and locked at night for protection. We supplement with herbs and medicate and worm only as needed to protect the life of the animal.
Our does in milk are machine milked for sanitation and the milk is tested monthly through Langston University dairy herd improvement program.
We do sell the milk and are licensed through the State of Georgia to sell as Pet Food. Please check out our online store here for more details and availability. We also make goat milk soap from excess milk and offer a variety of scents.
Farm visits are welcomed as we love to talk about goats. Please contact us with any questions.
